No insurance billing
We do not take or bill insurance. We are the most affordable gym on the island.
No membership name changes
One membership per person. Common with visitors / Argentinians / van lifers — the answer is no.
Jump Start sign-ups go through the portal
All Jump Starts must sign up through jumpstartmaui.com. If a member can't, staff signs them up through the site — never the back end.
Hiring inquiries go through Indeed
Anyone calling about a job: direct them to apply + message us through the Indeed portal. Do not take resumes at the desk.
Human handoff = front desk phone only
Lahaina front desk (808) 309-7190 — never give out Pete's cell.
Freeze requests
Can freeze; capture member name, mobile, start + end dates. Pete, Will, or Jarod approves.

Member came to the front desk before leaving saying that in the Sauna in the Men's locker looks like maybe Mold. Danny and I went to take a look and it's hard to tell.
I started work today at 3 PM. There was about 5 different members that came in with their children thinking we had day care available.

Brites' card was lost, so the monthly payment did not go through. We put on the new card (6500), and charged the monthly fee. It still shows an owing on our system. But she did get the charge through her credit card.

Parents (Sabrina Schultz + husband) arrived with their child at 735pm and wanted their 10yo son to hangout in the chairs up front while they worked out. They were told no and were all snippy about being told no. They claimed that they had been allowed to prior, were told "not anymore with kids club open." Mom understood but dad was a dick about it. I was firm and polite, thats not acceptable and we are not liable for the kid, and we arent going for the kids gone wild vibe in our lobby.
We have a 3 kids maximum in child care -- found some note about a mom with 4. Please alert KC staff of limits- make sure policies are posted on KC window - Policy 1: No sick children. 2: 3 children per family.
